Jill Mowery McCollum 1955 - 2013 Jill McCollum passed away suddenly from complications of cancer on November 24, 2013. Jill was born June 29, 1955 to Larry and Mitzi Mowery. She graduated from Skyline High School and the U. of U. Jill retired from the Dallas Police Dept. on April 29, 1989. Jill married Rector McCollum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jill is survived by her husband Rector, children Travis and Kathleen, mother Mitzi, brother Scott and wife Jackie, and a niece and nephew. Memorial services were held in Plano, Texas on November 30, 2013. Jill will be loved forever by her family and missed by many friends. Published in Salt Lake Tribune on Dec. 22, 2013

I remember playing at Jill's house after school a few times in fisrt or second grade. I wanted to be a Brownie girl scout like her because she was always so nice to me and always looked so cute--even in her Brownie uniform, but I never got to do GS. Her mom was also very sweet and always smiling when I would go to their house or see them in the neighborhood. Sad to learn of her passing.
