Richard Micheal Hitchcock    

Richard Michael Hitchcock, 61, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on October 9, 2015 in Murray, Utah. Richard was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edward Castle Hitchcock and Lillian Lawrene Davis on September 16, 1954. He married Judith Lynn Yensen on August 3rd, 1978 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Skyline High School and attended the University of Utah before embarking on a career in computer programming and web development. Most recently, he served in the role of Web Developer for Intermountain Health Care (IHC). He greatly enjoyed square dancing, photography, woodworking, computer gaming, camping with his boys, and spending time with his grandchildren. Richard is preceded in death by his father, Edward Castle Hitchcock. Richard is survived by his three sons and their spouses, Michael (Harmony), Sean (Laura), and Douglas (Andrea); three brothers William, Randy, and Blake; mother Lillian Lawrene Hitchcock; four grandchildren Grayson, Abigail, Ethan, and Emmett; first wife Judith; and girlfriend Linda. The family of Richard wishes to recognize and extend their heart-felt gratitude to the medical team at the Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) in Murray, Utah. A memorial service in his honor will be held on Monday October 12th, 2015 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 9800 South 2300 East in Sandy, Utah.
