John Allen Dalling
1955 ~ 2014
Our beloved husband, father and brother John Allen Dalling returned to our Hevenly Father March 29, 2014 at the age of 58 after a long illness. John was born on May 22, 1955 to Dell & Melba Christensen Dalling in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Skyline High School in 1973 and graduated from the U of U 1980. Married Violet Sue Powell Sept. 19, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple.
John served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
John is survived by his wife, son, Jeremy (Natalie), brother, Ray Dalling, sister, Sharon Dalling, 3 nephews and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Debbie Dalling, brother, Steve Dalling.
Funeral services will be held 10 am Friday April 4, 2014 at Willow Canyon 8th Ward, 1600 E Buttercup Dr. (10075 S.). Visitations will be 6-8 pm Thursday at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W 2700 S, Magna and 9-9:45 am Friday at the church prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. John and I along with many others were in Stage Band and Concert Band together. (and maybe Orcherstra) He was always funny and a bit of a clown. I enjoyed being around him. I could tell stories as could Russ G and Chuck B and others in the stage band. I lost track of him years ago. I knew he became a Marine. I am saddened by his passing. Peace my brother. Now get that tuba and your bone out and give that Heavenly Band a great bottome line.

We used to hang out for lunch, we would take his 65 chevy and blow past Mr. Middleton....I really liked John, great group of band friends.
