Victor Larsen

Victor Grant Larsen, 45, of Rigby, Idaho and formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah died Thursday, January 11, 2001 at his home in Rigby.

Vic was born July 10, 1955 at Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Grant Smith Larsen Jr. and Nancy Jeanette Jackson Larsen. He attended schools in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from Skyline High School.

He moved to Idaho in 1996 and worked for Larsen Farms in Hamer, ID. He moved to Rigby, ID in Oct of 1998. He married Carrie Roberts Dec 16, 1976. They were later divorced. On Dec 27, 1995 he married his sweetheart Jody Lynn Hurst at Daytona, FL.

He was an Elder in the LDS Church where he taught Primary and helped with the youth. He enjoyed being with his children, hunting, fishing in Montana, his pet poodle, Skiddles, snowmobiling, helping other people, sprint-car racing at Bonneville Raceway and go-cart racing with his son and nephew.

He is survived by his wife, Jody Lynn Larsen, Rigby, ID; daughters: Heather Larsen, Sara Larsen; a stepdaughter, Jamie Thurgood Nicholls; a son, Adam Larsen; a stepson, Francis Bradbury; parents: Nancy and Grant Larsen; nephew, Wesley Larsen; nieces: Melissa and Nichole Larsen; ex-sister-in-law, Lynette Martindale, and two step-grandchil-dren, all of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his brother, David Howard Larsen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001 at 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr., where friends may call on Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates.
