Our beloved son, Cory Casella Murdock, age 46, passed away June 21, 2000 in Phoenix, Arizona. Cory was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 25, 1954. He is survived by his parents Ralph and Teresa Murdock; sisters, Sharon Hart and Vicky Murdock; wife, Pricilla Knapp Murdock; three stepchildren Neil, Patrick and Marnie Johnson; nine step-grandchildren; many close relatives and friends. Cory was in the automobile business for many years and currently worked at Mel Clayton Ford as a financial manager. He loved life, he loved people and was a very loving son, brother, husband, stepfather, and grandfather. He loved spending quality time with his grandchildren, Conrad and Samantha. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Viewing will be held Sunday, June 25, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. at Bethany Chapel Mortuary in Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at Bethany Chapel Mortuary in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, June 26, 2000 at 10 a.m. Internment will be at Paradise Memorial Garden, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Without a doubt Cory had the coolest car at school.  That purple plymouth barracuda was hard to miss!

It was a purple Plymouth Duster.  He would like to pretend he had a 340 in it but it was really a 318.  I stenciled the 340 on the valve covers to help his illusion.  Crazy guy for sure.

When Cory installed a set of Hooker Headers on his Duster in auto shop we cut the "Headers" part from the sticker and put it on his drivers door.



From that day forward Cory was known as "Headers".  

We also backed off his rear brakes so when he "power-braked" just his front brakes worked allowing him to "smoke" his tires - even with that little 318.


What a great time that was.....................................................................
