Bonnie Jo Thompson Thies died August 31, 1996 in Lakewood, Colorado.

Bonnie was born on November 11, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the second child and first daughter of Leland and Frances Randle Thompson. A 1973 graduate of Skyline High School, she married Donald Thies on August 22, 1975. Later divorced. Bonnie dearly loved animals and Salt Lake's beautiful canyons.Bonnis is great missed by her family: daughter, Melissa Thies of Salt Lake City; parents, Lee and Fran of Puyallup, Wash.; brother, Michael Thompson (wife, Sue and daughter, Jessi) of Salt Lake; sister, Karen Adams (husband, Kim) of Puyallup, Wash.; and Stacey Thompson of Salt Lake; and by her favorite dog, Coca Thompson of Puyallup, Wash. Bonnie was preceded in death by her nephew, Bryan Thompson, and her grandmother, Sarah Randle.
